Rutinib (Ruxolitinib Cream), generic opzelura is a prescription medicine used to treat a skin condition called short-term and non-continuous treatment of mild to moderate eczema (atopic dermatitis) in non-immunocompromised people 12 and older whose disease is not well controlled with topical prescription therapies or when those therapies are not recommended. Ruxolitinib Cream is also used the treatment of a type of vitiligo called nonsegmental vitiligo in adults and children 12 years of age and older. Eczema is an allergic-type condition that causes red, irritated, and itchy skin. Ruxolitinib Cream works by weakening the skin's defines (immune) system, thereby decreasing the allergic reaction and relieving the eczema.
